The vehicles we develop are geared specifically to your set of requirements. This comprises the right navigation and safety systems, energy management and the transfer of data.
Natural Navigation uses structures and contours in the environment as localisation reference. This means that infrastructure, such as inductive wires, magnets or reflectors, is not necessary. What is more, this navigation method makes it possible to use simple reflectors, possibly combined with the structures and contours of the environment.
Application of reflectors results in optimum positioning if the environment does not provide sufficient reference points. The accuracy of positioning is +- 1 centimetre and +- 1 degree.
Vehicles equipped with Natural Navigation can be installed quickly using the related software. This ensures that all settings can be installed and maintained simply and efficiently. It does not matter whether it concerns a single vehicle or a large fleet of vehicles.
Natural Navigation combines information from industrial encoders and laser scanners to achieve an accuracy of ± 1 cm and ± 1 °. Natural Navigation uses the data from the safety scanners that are mounted on the vehicle.
Mapping software is a fully integrated solution that supports the installation of our products. Configuring vehicles, mapping, creating routes, traffic handling and monitoring.
Operation has become even simpler for integrators and end users. The AGV first reads the environment by driving through the area guided by remote control.
The mapping software registers the environment and possible reflector positions. The measured environment data are then transformed into the environment map.
Fleet Management Software & Server
AGVs are steered and controlled by means of the Fleet Manager that is part of the delivery. The software has a server-client architecture. The Fleet Manager can control several vehicles within the same environment. The Fleet Manager has several functions such as task management and performance, routing and planning, traffic management, communication with navigation software, user interface for monitoring and controlling the AGVs, alarm management and the collection of data in a database.
In addition, this software has optional interfaces with a higher system such MES or ERP.
Planning and routing ensure an optimal route for the AGV from the current location to the target location, while taking account of the other traffic along the route. If necessary, the software will generate instructions for the vehicles automatically in order to prevent deadlocks.
Traffic control embedded in the software is based on both the routing and the real-time monitoring of safety fields around the vehicle. The Fleet Manager can have vehicles slow down or stop when they are close to each other. The Fleet Manager will never forward an order received as a command to the AGVs if this will result in a deadlock or a collision.
The Fleet Management software includes all tools needed to define a warehouse, production environment or any other environment.

The Fleet Manager makes it possible to have AGVs select different routes to reach the target location. This prevents deadlocks and ensures optimum AGV routing.
The Fleet Manager manages the battery status of the various AGVs and makes it possible to recharge the AGVs at scheduled times or when there are no orders.
